| This game came out a few days ago (2010-07-10). Inspired by the King's Quest series of the 1980's and '90's, The Silver Lining is a non-commercial game that follows King Graham of Daventry as he searches for a cure to a terrible curse laid on his children by a sinister cloaked figure, and begins to learn that not everything in their lives and pasts is as it seems. The project was inspired by Roberta Williams - the creator of King's Quest. The game is episodic - this contains chapter 1 - which of course more to follow upon their respective releases. I am going to list this for now as status green. Simply because I am cautiously optimistic that there is no problems - but have only played the game for about a hour. Saves, etc work - mouse seems to work - speech / audio work. I set the screen resolution at 1440x900 - you can change this in the settings if you so wish. Tested on a Macbook Pro running 10.6.4. - Port is with CXZ Diamond - Thus you need to have the CXZ Diamond Engine installed for you to be able to play this. |
