Plus, CPU players have been infused with Pro Player Intelligence, the next generation of player intelligence and performance. **This is the official EA Cider application and works lossless on OSX** Install Instructions - Install the game using the FIFA 12 Installer in the FIFASoccer12.dmg - (Optional) Run game and install updates - Locate the Fifa12.app, right click (or control + click) and select Show Package Contents - Copy the FIFA.exe file included in the torrent to: /Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/EA Sports/EA Sports FIFA Soccer 12/Game/ - Overwrite the existing FIFA.exe, or rename the old one first - (Optional) Block connections with LittleSnitch, it will connect to EA servers if you don't (see below) Additional information Updates are not necessary to play the game, but if you have issues with the game try this first. Also, when not using LittleSnitch (available here), the good ol' EA copy 'protection' pops in, putting Smith on all player's shirts, instead of their own names. Using console controllers on your Mac It is possible to connect your favorite console controller to your Mac running OSX. Use Google to find out more about your preferred controller. Mac-native controllers might need some remapping; check the associated forums for more info. Note: to use an Xbox 360 controller on your Mac, make sure to either have the Microsoft Wireless Receiver kit to use with the wireless controller, or have the wired controller -- this is NOT the same as putting the charger cable on the wireless controller. The cable only serves to charge and does NOT carry a signal. |
